Advanced English
Australia ABC College helps assist students in using, understanding and appreciating the English language in a variety of different formats. Students are subjected to advanced texts which help shape meaning in ways that are more imaginative, interpretive, critical and powerful than expected for their grades.
Students will think critically and interpretative about information, and express ideas and arguments in a sophisticated manner in response to texts. Students are required to improve their ability to express their knowledge in further complex applications in preparation for the HSC.
Advanced Mathematics
Australia ABC College aims to develop students’ mathematical thinking, understanding, competence and confidence in the application of mathematics at an advanced level. We try to engage students in a healthy manner so they can enjoy and appreciate mathematics on a higher level.
Subject is designed to support students with learning, understanding and applying the course content, making sure that they are fully confident in comprehending the materials at school.
Science
Australia ABC College aims to support students in furthering their understanding of Science in a plethora of ways and help further their application to multiple facets of the question.
In this subject, it is essential for students to build a strong foundation in this subject, in order to pursue future Science subjects in the HSC.
